Hello!

My name is Walt Destler. I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland (Dec. 2007) with degrees in Computer Science (B.S.) and Theatre (B.A.). I live in Columbia, Maryland and am currently employed at Aid Networks, where I am writing software that runs on tiny, wireless patient monitors for hospitals and disaster areas.

My personal hobbies and interests include developing video games, acting and directing in theater, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I have also been a very active participant in the restoration of the Newport News Middle Ground Lighthouse in Virginia.
